Pesticides prohibited (stopped) from use (46 active ingredients) in China

HCH, DDT, toxaphene, dibromochloropropane, chlordimeform, dibromoethane, nitrofen, aldrin, dieldrin, mercurial, arsenic pesticides, lead pesticides, Bis-A-TDA, fluoroacetamide, glyftor, tetramine, sodium fluoroacetate, silatrane, methamidophos, parathion, parathion-methyl, monocrotophos, phosphamidon, fenamiphos, fonofos, phosfolan-methyl, calcium phosphide, magnesium phosphide, zinc phosphide, cadusafos, coumaphos, sulfotep, terbufos, chlorsulfuron, ethametsulfuron, metsulfuron-methyl, asomate, urbacid, dicofol, lindane, endosulfan, bromomethane, sulfluramid, methidathion, paraquat, and 2,4-D butyl ester.

Note: Sulfluramid will be prohibited from January 1, 2020, paraquat GW from September 26, 2020 and 2,4-D butyl ester from January 29, 2023. Bromomethane can be used in “quarantine fumigation”. Methidathion has no formulation registration.
